MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Ok, ok... so it's been awhile since Christmas... but Merry Christmas anyway! I enjoyed eating the christmas presents, and underneath all of that tasty paper was noisey toys that light up and talk and even crawl! woo whoo! Aunt Emy and Uncle Kurt couldn't make it so the sent me lots of stuff, I got clothes and sparkeling shoes and carseat toys galore! Cousin Tristan along with Uncle Travis and Aunt Amber sent me some cool clothes and even a new book that goes algong with all my rainforset stuff! That was the first book dad read to me! We went to ALL the family get togethers, Grandma Wood's, Great Grandma Pownall's, Nama & Nampa Smith's and Grandma & Grandpa Pownall's! We are very much in demand. At Great Grandma and Grandpa Smith's, Cousin Alexi put raindeer on my head and mom and nama jumped in the picture. So needless to say I've been pretty busy so I'm just getting around to blogging about it!

FUN TIMES IN BAD WEATHER

So yeah I already told you guys we got snow, but it hasn't stopped! We've got over a foot of snow and it's here to stay! Maggie has mixed emotions about the snow. She doesn't like to go out in the kennel, but when she stays in the house she's bad and eats her dog bed and the Christmas tree lights... what she DOES seem to like is going out in running like a lunatic in the snow. We even made a play date out of it last night and invited Lou-Dog to come play. They had fun, and I had a good time too. Most of the time I was trying to figure out where the snow comes from, and I'll have to get back to you on that one. Mom and Dad took turns snuggling me inside their jackets since my snow outfit wasn't waterproof. Megan (who came with Ryan and Lou) pointed out that Dad looked pregnant and Mom thought that was pretty funny!

90th PERCENTILE

Grandma Bev was nice enough to come stay with us and even watched me while mom went out yesterday. Once again we played dress up! After she left I got to go to the doctors for my four month check up and I'm doing GREAT! I'm almost 26 inches long, and not quite 16 pounds, with a head circumference of about 16 inches. I'm in the 90th percentile, whatever that means. Basically all i know is that Doc says I'm growing like a weed & next month I get to try solid foods! I didn't let him know that the people at Mom's work already tried to give me a jump-start in that department... Instead of boring baby food I got to try yogurt covered pretzels! YUMMY! I was impressed, Mom says " Thanks a lot Doug.", obviously she was impressed too...

IT'S SNOWING!

Today I woke up to snow! It was coming down good... so I decided to wake up Mom (dad was gone hunting). Oh man, did I plan that right or what? So by it snowing outside, Mom wanted to see how I'd like the snow rather then her concentrating on getting me to go back to sleep. Ha ha. I'm a sly one I tell you! As for the snow... it was tapering off by the time mom had gotten up and dressed me warm, but the small flakes were cold, & they seemed to come out of nowhere! Just BAM take a snowflake to the face! Not sure how I really felt about it... I'll get back to you once I have had the chance to analyze my inner most feelings.

HERE TO SUPERVISE

This week was a busy week for us! We went hunting for a Christmas tree... and decorated our tree. Then we had Uncle Geo and Aunt Annette over for dinner and I had to get dressed up for pictures- and let me tell you Maggie is sooo not photogenic! Then to top things off, we did our Christmas shopping & no, I will not tell you what you got! Man... it's a good thing I was there to supervise this stuff. I mean who knows how long it would have taken Mom & Dad if I wasn't around! It only takes them FOREVER to get out the front door, imagine life without me...

WHO OPENED THE FLOOD GATES???

Ok. Let the teething begin! As you can see in the picture Grandma Bev took while watching me I'm now rivaling Maggie in the drooling department! At least she only drools when she takes a drink, where I've got some staying power behind me. Mom had taken to putting a bib on me so all my clothes aren't completely soaked. so far we haven't been doing too bad, but last night I was feeling kind of restless and got up twice -which is now pretty rare. Hopefully these teeth will come in quick, but until then I'll be busy drooling and chewing on everything! Other then that I wake up happy everyday & I'm pretty content with my hand shoved in my mouth.

BLISSFULLY IN LOVE

So... this is the best toy ever, and I decided to blog about it when Aunt Emy asked about him when she overheard him squealing on the phone. I just have to say that I LOVE MY BUG! My first acquaintance was when my friend Cailey introduced me to her bug. It was then that I decided that I had to have one, lucky for me mom agreed. From that point on it's been pretty hot and heavy between us. He goes EVERYWHERE with us, and is always around in the time of need. For instance car rides, and grocery stores. when I become bored and restless, wanting out of the HORRIBLE car seat...magically there's the bug! You can bend and pull him, and yes he screams a little as he blinks red... and it's great! It's like i can inflict all the pain i want on him and then laugh about it. We've decided to take our relationship to the next level, as i try to EAT him! So far the bug seems to relish my hugs and kisses and is even drool proof, this MUST be love....

CHECK OUT MY CRIB

Welcome to my room to all who have yet to see it! I like my yellow room and have slept in here since I was a few weeks old. Back then I would wake up every couple of hours, but now I sleep a full eight to ten hours a night, depending on how lucky you are! Mom's next hurdle is to get me to go to sleep on my own, we call it "self-soothing", and we'll just see about that! As for now I really like using the big chair in there, and I Love my "Where the Wild Things Are" painting that Aunt Emy made for me!

CIVIL WAR GAME

We went to Geo & Annette's to watch the big game, & to have a "Enchilada" giving. Lets just say dad got a little riled up watching the Beavers go down in flames. I myself was doing my part to help... i started off in my cheerleader outfit, but soon got too hot so I stripped down to my diaper and Uncle Geo tried to keep me happy. Being the team player that i am, i jumped back into cheer leading when dad insisted that i would bring good luck in the fourth quarter. yeah... not soo much! Geo ended up fanning me with a pillow while i sat with dad. After the game I watched as dad tried to release some anger by playing the boxing Wii game, when he just about took out the De Paz's new TV with a nice flying kick. We quickly switched to a balancing game instead! By that time it was way past my bed time so mom took me home so that i could go to bed.

SOMETHING NEW

A friend told us about blog spot, & how you can post pics & videos no problem. So we decided to try it out and see how it works for everyone...this way everyone can access photos of the growing girl with no hassle (in theory)! Let us know what you think!
